Audi Business Innovation was founded with the goal to develop and test new, platform-based, digital business models for mobility. This resulted in the creation of a platform for real-time visualization of vehicle data as well as an e-commerce platform for the sales of digital products. These platforms set the foundation for digital twins of vehicles.
What is a digital twin of a vehicle?
A digital twin of a vehicle is the virtual representation of its physical counterpart. It contains and mirrors all relevant data across the product life cycle – from development to maintenance. The digital twin leverages real time data and historical information for precise analysis, simulations, and optimizations.
Alongside the vehicles themselves, the users and their needs are the essential factor in developing tailored solutions. That is why we analyze personal preferences, habits, and demands to create individual profiles as the foundation for digital twins of our customers.
